Family Liaison Officers may be the first person you talk to. They are part of a team
specially selected to work with families bereaved by homicide. They are trained to
be sensitive to your anguish.
Their role is to find and bring to justice the perpetrator of the crime. Time is
of the essence and they must investigate, even though it can hurt.
But they will also be there for you; to help you, keep you informed about the progress
of the case and support you through all stages of the process.
