The intrusion from reporters can be hard to bear, but the information that they get to the public very rapidly may help to catch the perpetrator.
Your Family Liaison Officer will advise and support you. Any disclosure of personal information, photos or videos must be discussed with you in advance. If you do not want to say anything, that is your right !
in a way that you did not intend. Try to have someone with you to support you and block them if they push too hard.
If you want to say something do not be afraid to prepare a statement and stick to it. The media will understand you are a bereaved relative. However, the press in particular may be looking for an angle on the story and may seize on things you say while grief - stricken interpreting them
We work with a wide range of skilled organisations who may provide further help.
