We now also offer a Befriending Service on a one to one basis. Befriending is when someone who has been through a similar experience offers a listening ear to another person who is in a similar situation and in need of support.
If you are newly bereaved, or have never had the opportunity of this kind of support and you feel the need to talk to someone who has been through a similar experience then this support may be what you are looking for.
Befrienders normally offer support over the phone though face to face or e-mail support may also be available.
Befriending cannot “fix” the situation or take the pain away. However, we hope that we can bring some comfort in dark times, providing a listening ear to enable you and your family to develop your own coping strategies. To find out more about how we might help you please click here…
