About Us.

Grieving families demand immediate action to stop lives being wasted by knife, gun and youth crime.

In 2008, the families of Damilola Taylor and Robert Levy came together with a passionate wish to unite others as one voice to  say:

“No to knives, guns and youth violence”

With the help of the Foundation for Social Improvement (FSI) they formed a coalition called Through UNITY, an extended family of families. A powerful united voice of bereaved families demanding weapons off the streets, creating communities where our young people can be safe and can flourish.

Education is the key  to open opportunities, change attitudes and building a better, safer  future.
